An airy, first-floor apartment, set on the fringes of Fowey, this bolthole is a perfect base for enjoying the attractive port town and getting out and about in South Cornwall. Stroll 0.5 miles into the heart of Fowey to amble round its independent shops, dine out in its gastro pubs and restaurants and visit the aquarium. Catch the ferry over to Bodinnick, just 150 metres from the apartment, to see Ferryside, once home to author Daphne du Maurier, or walk 0.5 miles to Whitehouse Quay to board a ferry over to pretty Polruan. Pack your beach towels and swimming costumes and amble 1 mile along beside the estuary to while away a few hours on the sand at Readymoney Cove.
Climb the stairs or take the lift up to this first-floor apartment. Head inside to discover it has a welcoming lounge/kitchen/diner, with river views and plenty of space to unwind together after your busy days out exploring and enjoying Cornwall. Make a cup of fresh coffee in the machine, switch on the Smart TV and start thinking about what to prepare for dinner later in the kitchen area. When you are ready for bed, make your way through to either the double or the single bedroom. Guests share the family bathroom at this apartment.
This holiday home has no garden or outside space, but you are on the edge of town, with superb access to the river and scenic countryside.
