Only slightly further afield, days out can include trips to Looe and Polperro to the east, and Mevagissey to the west. Pretty Lostwithiel is also well worth a visit and here you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to boutique interior shops and antiques emporiums. Walkers will be in their element due to direct access onto a public footpath, and the South West Coast Path nearby. Other attractions accessible from here include the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charlestown and numerous National Trust properties.

The other bedroom is an attractive single bedroom with an additional single pull out bed (which can be used to accommodate an additional guest). Located at the rear of the property there is a beautifully appointed bathroom with shower over the bath and WC.
Stepping out of the French doors you will find a delightful riverside terrace looking out over the Veranda and the stunning Fowey estuary with garden furniture providing the perfect place for alfresco dining. There is shared pontoon onto the estuary for guests use. Private off-road parking for two cars is provided. (The veranda is designated for the sole use of Captains Cottage, however, occupants of the other properties have access along the side of the veranda in order to access their properties).
