Nestling on the beautiful south coast of Cornwall alongside the river Fowey you will find the unspoilt village of Poluran with its traditional cafe, village shop and local pub. Take the passenger ferry to Fowey where you will find a great selection of pubs, shops and restaurants. From Fowey there are ferries which run to the nearby fishing towns of Boddinick and Mevagissey or just relax on one of the many river tours you can take. Should you prefer to explore the area on foot there are plenty of walks to be found, including the South West Coast Path. Heading further afield are the towns of Looe and Polperro with their rugged coastlines.
Approach the property up stone steps from Betty Hewans steps, into the entrance hall where you will find storage space for beach equipment or muddy boots. From here you will find the open-plan kitchen/diner with a multi-fuel stove, electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, washing machine, and a dining table which seats for four – six people. Also on this floor is a separate WC. Head up to the first floor to the reading room and lounge, snuggle up on the sofa in front of the open fire and watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV. If you prefer a bit a peace and quiet you can pick a book to read in the snug/ reading room before heading up the staircase to the second floor. On this floor are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both having views over the river. The family bathroom is also on this floor with shower over the bath and WC.
There is an enclosed patio area to the front of the cottage with outside table and chairs for 4, the cottage is also within paces from the beach and village Quay. No private parking available. Parking is available in the nearby car parks where charges apply.
